Tenesol and NWG sign exclusive partnership on Italian PV market for installations up to 50kWp
Tenesol, the global solar power provider owned by energy giants TOTAL and EDF, has announced an exclusive distribution partnership with NWG, the Italian photovoltaic (PV) specialist. Under the agreement, NWG will deliver Tenesol’s PV solutions up to 50 kWp to the Italian consumer market and for small businesses. All systems over 50 kWp - for professional markets - will continue to be designed, manufactured and installed by Tenesol itself.
To mark the new partnership, Tenesol and NWG will present their combined service offering to the Italian market at Solarexpo 2010, taking place May 5th – 7th in Verona, Italy. (Hall 10 - Booth 5.1)
The partnership agreement was signed on Monday 26th April at NWG’s headquarters in Prato, Tuscany, and brings together Tenesol’s 26 years of experience in the global PV industry with Italy’s leading solar solutions provider.
“We are delighted to have officially partnered with NWG,” says Benoit Rolland, managing director of Tenesol. “We are committed to delivering Total Quality in everything we do and, together with NWG, we can bring new levels of customer service and satisfaction to the Italian market. The solar industry in Italy continues to develop and the more we can do to enhance its growth, the better.”
The partnership
Tenesol and NWG began working together on small-scale PV projects in 2005. NWG continued to develop its PV business and as it looked to strengthen its services by entering into a long term exclusive relationship with a well known PV systems supplier, it opened discussions with its first choice supplier, Tenesol.“We are pleased to be partnering with such an internationally renowned brand that offers a standard and level of quality that perfectly matches our own ambitions”, says Massimo Casullo, CEO at NWG. “This alliance positions us for the future. It represents a long-term certainty”.
The exclusive distribution partnership combines the two companies’ expertise in delivering PV solutions of the utmost quality, while ensuring optimum customer satisfaction.
NWG operates a nationwide network of distributors and installers throughout Italy. Combined with Tenesol’s European presence and France-based manufacturing plant, the two companies are ideally placed to meet even the largest of demands from the Italian market.
Tenesol’s commitment to Total Quality is present at every stage of its work from the design and manufacture of PV modules to the installation and maintenance of PV systems. NWG continues this commitment through its Top Level services, which delivers at every stage of its process.
Sun access provider
Tenesol is a rapidly expanding provider of PV solutions. For more than 26 years it has been engineering, designing, manufacturing, installing and managing solar energy systems. In the professional market, Tenesol provides on-grid and off-grid turnkey solar photovoltaic (PV) solutions to clients across the globe. The company works with the telecoms, agriculture, and oil and gas industries; it manufactures and operates large-scale ground-mounted systems; and delivers roof-mounted systems to industrial and commercial building owners. In the consumer market, Tenesol provides bespoke roof-mounted systems and easy-to-use PV kits.
Tomorrow’s energy today
NWG has been at the forefront of the PV sector in Italy since 2005. With over 1,000 systems installed in 2009, it is Italy’s largest solar system installer. NWG is also the first company in the sector to offer a program of total service. An innovative series of services allows NWG to offer its clients comprehensive support and absolute reliability, from the first information-sharing meeting through to testing and beyond. And thanks to its exclusive Energy Care service, the efficiency of all PV systems is monitored for 20 years.
NWG operates through a network of Energy Brokers and Technical Offices spread across the entire country. The company has also formed a series of strategic alliances to support its sales with prestigious financial partners who can offer suggestions for any financing requirements customers have.
“Achieving this synergy between two firms means bringing together our respective experiences in the field of product distribution, and devoting ourselves with renewed energy to the development of the Italian market”, says Francesco D’Antini, president of NWG. “Of course, one of the mainstays of this alliance is Tenesol’s extensive experience in the management of territorial exclusivity agreements in other European countries. For example in France and Belgium, through similar arrangements, the company installs thousands of systems each year.”
