Powering aerials and grid relays
The proliferation of telecommunication infrastructure in outlying off-grid locations (cellular, digital channels, etc.) raises the issue of deciding what energy should be used to power this infrastructure.
In this context, the power that is generated is stored in a battery which can restore it on demand. Linked up to a data acquisition system, the controller manages the charging and decharging of the battery, stores the production and consumption parameters, and can carry out remote monitoring from the telecoms station.
