History

HistoireOur history has fashioned our state of mind

Tenesol was born in Africa in 1983 in response to a genuine humanitarian challenge - access to water in the Sahel region. Solar technology is the only means of generating electricity for water pumping in these desert regions. Solar pumping, then supplying isolated sites were thus Tenesol's original sectors of expertise.

We view sustainable development as a genuine mission, not just a concept

In addition to our involvement in developing countries, we are now proud of developing reliable responses to energy challenges on a daily basis. Our mission is indeed to develop the clean, inexhaustible energy that is solar power throughout the world. Whether you are a private individual, farmer or manager of isolated telecom sites, we can develop solar solutions for you.
